Hi, I'm Rohan! I'm a Computer Science student at Purdue, deeply passionate about applied AI, tech innovation, and startups.
Currently, I'm interning at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with the AI/ML Services group, working on enterprise-scale code retrieval tools for coding agents. Last summer, I also interned at OCI, and worked on multimodal Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for document understanding.
Before that, I invented MAIScope — a low-cost, portable microscope for AI-powered malaria diagnosis in resource-limited settings.

Built an AI-native renovation copilot that reduces decision fatigue through a personalized home improvement chatbot, realistic interior image generation, dynamic budget tracking, and autonomous voice agents that perform outbound calls to source materials and get quotes. Trained a conditional GAN using PyTorch to translate Canny edge sketches into realistic color images on the CIFAR-10 dataset.
Built a <$100 portable AI-powered microscope using TensorFlow Lite and a bead lens to detect malaria and other diseases in rural areas without internet or stable power; matched SOTA performance on limited hardware.
Built an unsupervised k-means model to classify 270K+ tweets into 8 emotion categories and identify regions with high vaccine hesitancy in 10th Grade.

In my free time, I like to unwind through quiet moments in nature, cooking up in the kitchen, or through a (un)steady round of golf.
